F1 racing
hey is anyone here interested in F1 racing..i was watching the last race on sunday...and i have this strong urge to go racing...i know that the US has its own league for teens with these F1 like cars...from which they can be moved up to F1...is there anything like that in canada..? or is there anywhere i can do like track racing with these cars...no go carts..just these F1 cars cars...
i'm a Michael Schumacher fan...some ppl say its time for him to retire..but if he keeps liking it..and each time he wins feels like the first..i say go for it..i mean if you love your car audio..n you keep winning SPL and some ppl say its time to give others a chance..but you just have a gr8 luv for it..then you wanna keep doing it..so...you get it...

Actually there is a place in Quebec that does Kart racing, just like F1 but with smaller cc engines. They can get you hooked up in the circuit, and with a license, then if you are good enough you can get the opportuinity to go to F1.

That;s not 100% accurate.
It's very difficult to get into F1 without starting out very young... like start racing go-carts when you're like 10, then move up from there... You don't go from go karts to F1 in one step. There's F2,3,4,5 in between go-karts and F1 to keep things simple.
if it's just cheap (sort of) racing you're after, then what has been said is a viable, and good way to get into it, but getting to F1 this far in you're life is impossible.. unless you've been racing for years...

I like F1.
Shumi is still great, there's no need for him to retire, unless he's tired of making all that money. The rest of the pack has just caught up to him and I find it much more competitive and better now than when the ferrari's were just playing with each other to see who would win.
I like Alonso, Montoya, and I'm really interested in seeing how Nico Rosberg will turn out.
I think there was an F2000? school at Mosport...if your in GTA check it out for some beginner open wheel racing.

As it turns out those guys who started that particular team seen in the commercial are alumni from the U of T FSAE team.
Cool series, with some competetive drivers who have done well in other F-series in the UK, but its really a summer camp for really rich kids. All funded by the drivers.
Apologies for being a hater.....
Oh yeah, this series won't move you up into F1 right away if you are good. Most of these guys have to win the F-3000 championship to get a ride in F1, or do really well in some other major motorsport series....
