Emulators...
#1
Yes... I did a search.
I'm looking for a NES emulator. I was checking this sort of thing out a few years ago when ZNES and NESticle were the big ones.
What should I be getting these days, and is there a place I should be looking for roms?
** Edit... found an emulator... need roms. Can anyone hook me up?

Do a google.
I found that up to the n64 its pretty easy to find emulators, but after that a normal home comp. apparently doesnt have the dedicated processing power to emulate the 64 bit and up systems very well.
My friend CAN run an n64 emulator on his dual-2.4 gig Apple g5, but on PC, I hav eyet to see an emulator that can run any of the higher-demand gaming systems.
Obviously, I am not a techno-guy, so I dont know why, but thats what I found when I was searching for the same thing.
As for ROMS, like was mentioned, try the newsgroups, you can generally get every NES or SNES or Genesis or Turbografx ROM in one fell swoop.

hmmm ya im not sure if there is an xbox emulator for PC, i dont think there is. ive got an N64 emulator on my xbox though and it works just fine. another way to get roms is through torrent sites, they usually have a dedicated place for ROMS.
