DWVW - Ditto on All you posted
Tinted - What kind of Crap is that "We voted for what was familiar"? The conservatives were very clear where they stood, and even if not, RESEARCH the parties before making a decision. If my Lada would break down every 500KM should I buy another Lada just because it is familiar? NO! I would be pissed off at the car and try and find a more reliable machine.

It really pisses me off that the Liberal mud slinging worked. I much prefer a party that speaks with integrity and speaks about what they are going to do. Every one already knows how the other parties have screwed up - by capitalizing on the other parties past mistakes, you are essentially saying "I have nothing to offer to interest you . . . so I'm going to show you why the other guy is worse than me!" That's what the Liberals did and I am ashamed that my province fell for it again.

That's it, I'm moving west!

NAFTA the way its written now is horrible, we were completely sold out to the US on it, the americans basically own all our water, and wood, hell we send them power and they sell it back to US for a profit, thats not cool, i dont agree with mulrooney(sp?) and the **** he did, but the liberals have been stealing our money to line their pockets for the last 12 years, and for the former FINANCE minister, to say he had no knowledge of where the country's FINANCES were being spent... come on now, that would be like wayne harris saying he doesnt know how to wire 2 4ohm subs to a 2 ohm load....

as i said in a previous post it came down to whos gonna do the least worst job to the country, we didnt get that, instead we will have a government in office acting like a grade 6 class with a substitute teacher throwing spitballs and passing notes, untill theres a no confidence vote, and we get to do it all again and have yet another taxpayer funded election to **** away more of my hard earned cash, representation by population is a joke and should be bounced so far out of politics. each province should get EQUAL number of seats in parliment then MAYBE we can have some kind of representation by how people actually vote, instead of a government in power that had only about 22% of the total population of the country supporting them, we need a system like that of austrailia, mandatory voting, and u rank your choices thus giving a more accurate view of what the people WANT

What good has come out of NAFTA?

- the US can tell us what to sell them power for (or just not pay like a Californian company did to BC Hydro for over $200 million).

- the US can tariff our products as they see fit -- but lord forbid we return the favour.

- Believe it or not, during the Victorian Era most of the world had free trade thanks to the British Empire -- guess which country destroyed that with tariffs and blocking imports? Yup the good old USA.
