Well I thought that scams only happen on ebay to dumb people, and so far I am yet to be proven wrong. Just take a look at the email I received today regarding my item for sale.
" Dear drew_goring,
WE ARE INTERESTED IN THE IMMEDIATE PURCHASE 1 OF THIS ITEMS, WE WOULD BE PAYING $100.00 VIA BIDPAY MONEY ORDER FOR EACH QUANTITY OF ITEM YOU HAVE, SO SEND US THE TOTAL COST OF THE QUANTITY YOU HAVE AND ONCE YOU RECEIVE AN APPROVAL CONFIRMATION/NOTIFICATION LETTER OF PAYMENT FROM WESTERN UNION THAT THE PAYMENT HAS BEEN PAID & APPROVED WE WANT IT SHIPPED OUT SAMEDAY BECAUSE THE ITEM IS NEEDED URGENTLY BY OUR CUSTOMERS IN THE NEXT 4 BUSINESS DAYS,THE DEMAND PRESENTLY IS HIGH AND WE DON'T WANT TO LOOSE OUR CUSTOMERS.I KEEP RECEIVING CALLS EVERYDAY FROM MY STORE ATTENDANT IN AFRICA. OK SO IF YOU AGREE WITH OUR OFFER KINDLY SEND US YOUR NAME,ADDRESS,TOTAL QUANTITY AVAILABLE,TOTAL PRICE SO THAT WE CAN MAKE THE PAYMENT NOW AND WE NEED AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE OF THIS ITEMS NEEDED URGENTLY AND WE WILL ALSO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SHIPMMENT OF THE ITEMS OUR SELF WITH OUR FEDEX ACCOUNT AND I F YOU ARE GOING TO HANDLE THE SHIPMENT TELL US SO THAT YOU CHARGE IN THE SHIPMENT COST OF THE ITEM WE WAIT""" "
And a few hour later the email that ebay sent me to "warn" me about this guy.

What king of idiot would send their item to this guy? I might just see how long I can string this guy along. I think that I'm going to start up a new email account just for this.

Yeah, I figure they'll put that on me in the next email. I didn't really think that someone would go through all that trouble for just a PS2. I just emailed them my info, so we'll see if they email back

He actually sent me a fake bidpay email saying that I had a payment on the way, and gave me his address, which was nigeria. But what I don't understand is that he only "sent" me the money that he said he would. No extra. It seems like a lot of effort for just a PS2.
