The Day After Tomorrow

i havent seen Colombine but farenhite 9/11 is VERY good. my friends who i watched it with said this movie was just as good as colombine.
except it strikes a much bigger issue, something on the global scale. I found the comments made by Moore (the guy making the movie) were VERY controvertial yet striking and to the point. U can almost say this movie is biased, however it pronounces a very good balance to the biased media and Bush government reports.
the best part is when he says that out of 500+ members of congress only one had a son enrolled in iraq and then they approach all these congressmen and try to get them to sign their kids up to go to Iraq. that was beyond funny.

I enjoyed it, but it was definitely a stupid movie. You can't just brush it off as all movies are fake, because lots of movies make you believe it's real, like LOTR as mentioned. As far fetched as that world is, everything makes sense and checks out story wise.
How about running from extreme cold, outrunning it, and stopping it with a wooden door? And why the hell would you travel through a storm of certain death to get to your son, when there's nothing you can do to help when you get there? He might as well have just flown up there when the storm was over and the one guy would still be alive.

If you're talking about farenheit 911, becarefull...it's a docudrama. Some facts are stretched beyond the truth in order for Moore to prove his points. If anything I would say that it is democractic propoganda going against Bush in the upcoming election. Moore's views are interesting...but you must remember to take everything and criticize it.

As for realism in a movie, if it's based on reality (our current world) it should have some semblance of reality (I have heard that TDAT is full of flawed science and logic it is amazing). I mean if Peter Jackson can make me beleive that Middle Earth is almost real there is no getting off the hook on any other movie.

Yeah that was really far fetched u cant out run xtreme cold nor can a door stop it lol. Think of it this way would u rather die with or without your son if you were to die? Also he knew how long it would take to get there perhaps he wanted to be there with his son till the end. Some people can't wait.
152.5 - Just to argue how can they refuel with a chunk of frozen fuel. -180 degrees celcius usually doesnt agree with fuel.
The Temp started to warm up as the storm ended there buddy lol Only gave a suggestion and its possible to refuel in the less colder areas of the USA considering only half (the northern half) was frozen lol
