Computer issues

Hey, I am running an old school IBM computer (550mhz Aptiva, Win 98SE). I just picked up an MP3 player, whenever I plug into the USB ports the computer does not recognize that it is plugged in. I have tried driver updates, no luck. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Windows XP

Don't tell me it won't work on it, cause I got an older one with XP on it.
I use it solely for Termlab though.

If this is your everyday computer, Get a new one.

I have been tempted by some of MDG's deals on computers, anyone have any feedback on them?

MDG is a ripoff to me. My first computer was a MDG and never again. That was a few years ago so they might be good now. I would probably go with a Dell unless you just really like 1 package from MDG.

Also if you get a new computer, you will transfer songs a heck of alot quicker then with USB1.0 which your old computer has.
