Alright, I'm kinda gettin tired of not bein able to play this game as I spent money on it and it should work.

My computer is ABOVE the games minimum requirements, my video card is up to date with drivers as well as on the list for compatible cards with the game. I've done the dxdiag etc checked all through their tech support.

Can anyone else come up with a reason as to why this game may not like to work, it crashes and brings me back to windows, I've also tried their updates on the game site and still no.

The game is The Sims 2, University Expansion Pack seems to not like the computer at all after I had almost made the regular sims 2 playable.

If the sims 2 is "almost playable" how can the expansion be playable if it need the sims 2 to be installed?

I bought the expansion today and it stopped working again.

You got something screwy in your system... FORMAT [img]smile.gif[/img] lol..If it couldn't run on 512 ram when the requirement is 256 somethings not installing right or installing in the registry right...

Yea I just need the time to do the format Doug. I've pretty much uninstalled everything and both partitions are empty... so far so good with 1GB ram right now. Knock on wood.
