If there is a strike..I don't know what will happen. I'm supposed to graduate in April and if there is a strike....well I'm screwed....This has me sorta worried.
On Friday, January 30, the College Compensation and Appointments Council
(CCAC) respresenting the community college system and the provincial
faculty bargaining team did not agree on a settlement and both sides
left the negotiating table.
Unless one side or the other re-opens talks in the near future, the
next important date is February 17 when a strike vote will be held.
A strike vote does not necessarily mean a strike will be held, but it
is a strong message to the bargaining team that one could be imminent.
The details of management's most recent offer and the union's proposal
are posted on the CCAC web site and on the OPSEU web site respectively.

would they not just extend it? And can u not sue the school for such a thing? And Imma be pissed as well, dont f around wit my education it took me long enough to get here! lol No for real Im gonna be majorly pissed and it sux for u graduating guyz!

Our school will not refund our tution they said already. So that bites *** chunks. Best case scenario is I get my diploma early.
But yeah, they vote in a few days, time to do some finger crossing.....
God I love the education system....

As well. If there is a strike..my place it the place to be if you want to get royally hammered during the course of the strike. [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]
