Cheap oil changes?
Well, its coming to that time again, where I need to do an oil change. I've done one before..but school was in and I could use the lift and everything at the schools shop which made it really easy. Now I was considering doing it on my driveway, but to be honest thats way more work than I'm looking for...plus my dad would have a stroke if I got oil on his garage floor.
I was just wondering, where can I get a cheap oil change around Durham region? I heard Canadian Tire tries to up sell you a lot, and im not looking for any BS right now as funds are low enuff to be conservative with money.
Thanks guys

Don't you guys have Valvoline or Jiffy Lube quick oil change places up in Canada? They may be a dumb question, but I really have no idea what is up there. Haven't been up there since I was like, 10. Any quick drive through places shouldn't be more than 20-30 bucks. You pull in and say change my oil and touch nothing else. That's what I do and I'm in and out.

I heard walmart does em super cheap (not that i've ever been there).
Every quicklube or whatever charges like $29.99 for an oil change, if you don't ask for any extra...thats cheap enough. If you get their 50 point inspection or whatever, it might end up at like $50 after tax's...plus they'll tell you some random BS, like there's water in your oil, or coolant (they did that to me once.....)

Jiffylube's suck and they're usually expensive with lots of add-on fee's.
If you're in Durham go where I do: Autoworx (Oshawa at Wilson and Taunton). I started going there when I moved to Durham and needed a place to get my Trans Am tuned and this shop was recommended by the local senior parking lot rats at the Show 'n Shine's. The shop owner is a great guy and completely honest. He doesn't need to scam people as he's well respected and because of this is always busy.

what if something is wrong with the vehical and you don't let them inspect it, then you won't know about the problem until its too late and something major break where you could of avoided it by fixing the minor problem before it became a major problem, that make sense?
for a cheap oil change you could provide your own oil and filter to avoid paying the shop rates for that stuff
