hmm i stangely after putting some effort in, i realized that i can syncronize my desktop with a webpage.....

now i just need to find a huge *** waving canada flag or something else super hot to put on there...

Yes you can as long as you use the active desktop feature in windows 98. In 2000/XP you can just select the gif as your desktop and it will work fine

If you dont have a powerfull pc though...beware of it.

I have a celeron 2ghz with 300+mb of ram..and it is sluggish as hell. Not worth it with my setup.

I do know my setup sucks btw.

hey, if you wanna set something active on the desktop, like say a moving smiley ect....... put your pointer on it ,right click, and click set as desktop item, and it will be on the desktop active.

But like AAAAAAA - the bigger the icon, or the more active icons you add, the more sluggish the system will run. - memory pig -

To control what icons you have active on the desktop.
~ right click a empty spot on the desktop, then click on properties - you will be in the display properties box.
~ click the tab that says "web" and you can control what icons are active, buy turning them off, on ect.....

I hope this helps for what your doing.
