Kinda of like life in prison until you get out.
Don't you all love our justice system.

I dont think my friend would use them either. He would just be a moron getting his *** kicked running around with them. Would they be able to get sent over the border or would they be detected and stopped?

If your friend wants to get his *** beaten into next year then tell him to go ahead and get a set.
If you pull a set of those in a fight.. the other person(s) has full legal right to beat the ****ing snot out of you and send you to a hospital.. and theres nothing you(or in this case your friend) can do about it legally since YOU pulled the "deadly weapon" first.
oh yeah and by the way if you casually pull those out and use them on someone.. thats called assault with a deadly weapon.. and you'll REALLY get the book thrown at you then.
Just a few things to consider. The only time I'd EVER use one of those is if it was a few people on one.. and THEY started it first (and you can prove that) THEN you can pull out the weapons such as the brass knuckles.... since you were "defending yourself" that'll hold sway in court.
Anyway.. have fun getting has *** kicked or thrown in jail regardless..
thank God weapons are big time illegal here in Canada.. otherwise you'd have crap like this happening all the time.

X </font>[/QUOTE]I agree, our justice system is a joke.
I don't care why, if you initiate a physical assault, you should be going to jail. Exceptions for extreme provocation and circumstances maybe, but if you decide you don't like the way someone looked at you and decide to beat them down, you can rot in jail.
I fully support concealed carry, maybe some of the retarded tough guys out there would chill a bit if there was a decent chance of taking a few shots in the chest.

You have a really bad understanding of the law. Just because someone pulls a weapon first does not mean that you get to curb stomp them. You may use reasonable force to protect yourself , but once you have removed the threat you have to stop. Of course that's open to some interpretation, but if you incapacitate the attacker you must stop or you open the door to your prosecution.
