Best: Any of the VW's I've had (on #3 in the past 4 years)
Worst: tie between the 1988 S series blazer 5spd with the anemic 2.8L.... it did finally let go at 410,000km though, so not too bad. and my first car.... 1971 Chev Impala 4dr.... POS, RIP.

Well since im a youngin' the lesabre, grand am, and f-350 have been my only vehicles.. i mean my parents.
1995 lesabre has lotsa room, not to bad on gas, extremely comfy, but made to eliminate sound so spl is a no go
2003 grand am, speedy family car, room is limited but not to shabby. back middle seat is very uncomfortable, and it seems difficult to see out of the back window in the city
2001 f350 lariat crew cab diesel. Roomy, powerful, loud, but bad on fuel

well the first car i owned was an 1983 Chrysler 5th ave. v8 posi rear end .lots of room. the seats were so comfy. had around 250 000km and was falling apart. lot of good memories in that car . i sold it to a friend then the alternator went bad on him. he replaced it and a week later the car started on fire and burnt to the ground.i drove it to work one day when it was - 45 with no wind chill it sat for 8 hours not plugged in and it started
Pros: a very smooth ride comfy seats and large interior started no matter how cold the weather
Cons: looked like A$$ used alot of gas.
Second vehicle was a 1991 s10 x cab standard 2 wd with the 2.8 very reliable but also was in rough shape. Went 4 wheeling with some friends once and they all could not believe how i did not get stuck on some of the paths we went down. Then we went to a gravel pit and i finally did get stuck so we hooked a tow rope onto the back bumper. And the whole thing bent almost ripped off. then the next day it developed a rear end wine .
Pros: reliable went through lots of mud and water for a 2wd. a/c had a topper on it had over 250 000 km on it
Cons : no power weak rear end was starting to fall apart.
Then finally i bought a 2001 grand am 2-door auto. So far it’s been a great car. Its great on gas and has good power. Power everything and ice cold a/c.
Pros: 2.4 good on gas sporty reliable ice-cold ac, large trunk
Cons: not standard and don’t know who much longer the auto trans will last. on the heater controls fan speed 1 and 2 don’t work (but its an easy fix) dash rattles and so does the sun roof. I will never own another gm product ever again because of how cheaply they are made. Oh and my power seat is also broken

Worst 91 Z24 3.1L... motor took a dump at 130,000kms and cost me over $3500 to get it up and running again....it was one thing after another until i got it running alright and I sold it. hahaha I was going about 100km/hr one time down the highway and hit some rainroad tracks and the hood popped open and scared the crap out of me and my g/f at the time....
Best 96 VW Golf 170,000kms and it only cost me a set of tires and oil changes....hell my 1982 Tercel was a tank took an *** kicking has over 400,000kms and still running!

Worst - 1984 Camaro Z28. It was beat by the previous owner so it really wasn't the car's fault.
Best - 1991 Pontiac Trans Am GTA. Aside from being a hippo it was actually pretty fast and a blast to drive (especially with the performance mods). I love the look of the '91-'92 GTA's.
Honourable mention - my 1988 Ford F-150 was pretty industructable and super easy to work on.

My 87 Nissan Sentra went through 3 engines and stopped at 600,000kms, That was a beast, good on gas and could take a beating, we jumped this car numerous times..... The cavi went fast like 25,000kms after I got it we wrote it off in an accident, then we got the beamer..... It was a pristine 1988 528e... MINT condition, I use to worship this car.... Yes it was tons of work to get the engine working the way it should.... I did so many upgrades to it that it was as close to an M5 as any other than the engine and tranny.... I had a euro headlight conversion for it and all.... I loved that car..... then we got a 92 civic.... biggest ****in POS on earth.... burns blue and had to replace some clutch and tranny parts twice.... it's still kickin as my new SPL ss1-2nw car...... Now for the Ion.... I love this car as much as the beamer... not as fast though but handles nicer... yeah I said nicer.... LOL It's great on gas and looks very sporty.... I'd have to say it's a tie between the Ion and the Beamer....

Best: '93 Ford Probe GT - factory ordered it in June '93 & kept it until June 2003. 10 years & over 180,000 km & only one major repair that was over $600. Thank you, Mazda powertrain!
Worst: either '94 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd. or '85 Volkswagen Scirocco - the Jeep cost us $500+ every three months for the six years we owned it from '98 to 2004. The VW was also very unreliable & I only kept it for a year in '90 because no one could disagnose an electrical problem.
I'll get back to you on this topic in 2007 when I look to replace my 2003 Audi A4 3.0 Quattro & my 2005 Nissan Pathfinder SE.

best: 87 mazda rx-7 - bought this car this year and it's is the best car I have ever driven but it has to be has it is a cop magent. the only down side it I have to replace the engine because I broke the coolant seal... but that will give me time to rebuild everything and make it the way I want it....turbo sleeper
worst: 90 mazda 323 - it has a floor that was so rusty it shouldn't be on the road. and the brake lines were rusted out (found out first hand on a lunch break). but the car was also allot of fun because it was mine and I got to beat the crap out of it...oh and the guy I sold it to is turning it into a race car
