Yeah, its a pretty sad state of affairs. When you have no money, you have no choice. You know, money is a lot like air, if you dont have any, you think about it ALL the time. Thats why I always get pissed off when I hear "Rich people are materialstic, all they think about is money" really? when was the lsat time you thought about breathing? you know..... I wish more people would get involved in a business that allows them time and money. Without either of the two, whats they point? I know all about crap cars. I used to have a 1972 Chevelle, Muscle car. Talk about Horrid brakes and handling, that car was a disaster on the road, when it comes to safety. non-power brakes, steering, and poor engineering to boot. unfortunately, theres lots of people out there that cant afford anything better. I Really wish Transport Canada would 'enforce' drivers to maditorilly (that cant be right spelling) take a defensive drivering course, and essential driving skills. Drunk driving, especially during this time of the year, is a rampant cause for accidents during winter driving

its true what u said about Quebec drivers, those guys know how to drive, honestly. I wish everyone here drove like this. No biggie to be cutting in, the biggest **** off are the ppl who go the speed limit or under and have no sense of whats goin on around them. I cut in all the time and if someone cuts in front of me i dont mind, more power to him/her. as long as the cut-in is done the proper way, which is letting the other person know u gonna cut them off, its all good. Now those ppl who change lanes without looking b/c they dont know wtf is going on is a diff story.

some places in Canada are great to drive in. If you've ever thought Canadian drivers are bad, I've heard some hilarious stories about CAB drivers from Rome Italy, and Mexico. talk about driving with a guardian angel.

Excuse me?????? That's a pretty bland statement. I come from a "poor" region and I see a lot of "poor" people driving on the roads "out there with the like 1980's falling apart rust buckets", and contrary to what you say, they do keep them in good running order. They have to keep them running and function as best as they can, how else are they going to make a living??? I have a lot of "poor" friends, and they keep their cars running in a lot better shape than people who are better off in them. They have to keep them in good running order to make a living.... That seems to be pretty stereotypical.

How do poor people even factor into this. Bad driver's are everywhere and come from all streams of society. They are drivers who know that their car is unsafe to even be on the road, yet drive it on the busy roads anyways. If I recall, your dad did this a little while ago with your car, and even though it had no function brakes (except the e-brake), your dad still took it on the road, and not only put his and your life at risk, but the lives of everyone occupying the road around him.

This isn't an attack on you or your dad, it's not my intention. Bad drivers are not just "poor" people, theyre people who neglect their cars, don't care, or just can't be bothered to fix it.
</font>[/QUOTE]You obviously didnt get a very good glimpse of the people around this area for what they drive so I'll leave this reponse alone and you can figure it out for yourself considering it was a general statement especially for people around my area.
