when i was still raci8ng, the switch to 250 from 125 was scary as hell. when the power band hit (i used to only ride 2 stroke) it almost kicked my a$$. if your going for big gaps and air, get the 250, otherwise get the 125 and save the $500 for gas and equip. [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

I quite racing/riding about 3 years ago but rode every bike out there up until then. When not racing/practicing I rode Ganaraska and Northumberland forestries and for someone with some experience even it it's only the 80's, I would suggest going with the 250. The 125 isn't as much fun in the trails as you can't keep it on the pipe in there. My favorite bike in the trails was my fully modded CR500 and I rode that bike at 160lbs without gear on. Easily the fastest/most enjoyable bike in the trails for me.
You'll enjoy the cr250 in the trails much more than the 125 IMO.

ok thanks guys for the replies, sorry i've been busy so couldnt reply sooner. I think im going to go with the 125, then next year after i have more experience then i'll sell it and buy a 250.
