for the most part WCC has a few variations (sp?) of a bike that they build (el diablo) but the same goes for OCC. Occ does to a lot of "theme" bikes which are supposed to be over the top designs. which makes these bikes not for every ones tastes, for the most part i think they are too cluttered.

its one thing to watch jesse make a gas take out of sheet metal. and kinda ho hum to watch OCC take a tank off the shelf and customise it (granted its a good way to custom some thing and get results fast).

i think it was mikeys bike that the front fender wouldnt fit (too wide) so the put it on the floor and stood on it to try and narrow it a bit... CUSTOM

i watch both, and appreicate the work and effort that they (OCC &WCC) put in to the bikes they make. ... but think alot of people just like the attitude and coolness that WCC carries with them ....

I'd have to say that it's the "attitude" that turns me off Jesse and West Coast Choppers. Beautiful bikes, but can't take the persona.

My 2¢

yeah jesse has a lot of attitude..almost like he thinks he's too good for anyone he works with..OCC are funny cus they just b1tch at each other and crash into each other's trucks..I haven't even seen WCC on american chopper for ages..when is it on? I always just get to see OCC..usually after monster garage..

LOL Danzig does....did you not hear about him getting his *** kicked by Sabastien from Judas Preist? He got smoked by the smallest guy ever. It'd be like Andre the Giant getting beat up by Wee-Man from Jackass.

As for WCC vs OCC....OCC is the shiznit. There is not a better show than American Chopper IMO.....Nothing is funnier than Paul SR and Paulie fighting constantly, and then there's Mikey....he should have his own show...Vinnie gets in a few good ones from time to time as well.

Skill wise, I think Jesse is very talented, I also think that Paulie puts a lot more effort into his bikes than Jesse...I doubt Jesse could put in enough time to build something as detailed as bikes like the Firebike and the Commanche bike.

Not to mention that if Jesse had a show like American Chopper, it would just be him goofing around and stuff because he's all about the publicity. Hire Jesse to work at OCC...he'd loose his job in about 20 mins because he dicks around too much. Don't get me wrong, I've seen Jesse's bikes, he does do VERY nice work, better than I could do for sure, He's very skilled and knows his sh*t, but I don't think he has the skill to build a better bike than Paulie.

You know, if you really think about it...it's not really building the bikes that is hard....sure it takes a while to design and build them, and if you can't weld extremely well you might as well go home....but it's really the paint that sets those bikes off....so I think Justin(the painter from OCC) is the guy that really deserves a lot more credit than he gets. I've airbrushed before, painted all kinds of stuff, even done little custom murals that didn't turn out too well, it's a lot harder than it looks.
