for the most part all you see OCC do is order parts and asemble them, while when you watch a jesse james show its full custom fabrication.
but all said and done it IS T.V. land so what you dont see and what you do see are 2 very very different things.

Do you watch a lot of American Chopper? I thought the same thing initially but then I can see where they take the "standard" things like say a frame and have their metal works shop make them rather than tying up the designers' time. They have Orange County Iron Works too in case people didn't know, and they do a fair bit of things like frame building.
If a bike needs a custom tank they can for sure make it like they did for the Apache but if the tank is not a pivotal piece like on say Mikey's bike then they'll use an off the shelf part. I don't see that as bad. Plus there comes a point with something like a fender that it costs more to make what would look 99% like one from a supplier. [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

OCC is way better than WCC IMO. Jesse James is a hack. It's like comparing Steve Brown to the Fishman. Sure Jesse has the media on his side but Paulie is the most original designer out there.

i disagree. I think that jesse's metal forming skills give him a cur above the rest. OCC vs. WCC is like haveing an great installer that only uses modified prefab boxes, compared to a great installer that can use fiberglass.

see now, OCC vs WCC.... hmmmm paulie would kill jesse in a fight, and in designing, but, jesse and that hand metal forming.... thats some cool shiznit, but really all jesse's bikes are kinda spinoffs of his "el diablo" bikes.... but OCC is out there when it comes to custom designer lookin bikes, the race car bike, the jet bike, the cody bike was simple but fawkin sweet, the list goes on, jesse is great when it comes to monster garage tho.... anyone who can turn a porsche into a golfball picker that shoots *****..... thats great
