3d Mark Scores
#1
I don't know alot about what constitutes a good score but I scored a 7540.
System is:
Athlon 3000+
Asus A7N8X mother board
1GB DDR400 memory
ASUS V9570 LE/TD FX5700LE Video Card 8X AGP
XP Pro operating system.
Would overclocking help? If so how does one go about overclocking?
My system is 2.16Ghz with an Internal Clock Maximum of 3.0Ghz. External clock is 166mhz.
I post this in the hopes that some of the CCA members are UBER computer edumacated and can help me out.

Depending on your motherboard they have jumperless settings which you just go into the bios and set the fsb to overclock the cpu I Know the Asus P4C 800 I think it has that... if not you just set ur jumpers on your motherboard accordingly to spec if you had say a 3ghz true cpu...

Before you venture into the land of overclocking, do some research.
I have the same motherboard and have overclocked my processor. You can achive much higher speeds, but this comes at a price.

So it's not all that much of a challenge.. But a jumperless setup is very nice only thing you majorly need to be carefull of is overheating just get a big *** heat sink and should be all good.
