A chip and some headers; but if you're starting from scratch, stuff a 350 into that 'vette

If you're feeling adventurous, Zack, throw an old 267 ci. into it! All the economy of a 350 with all the power of a 2.8 litre.

But seriously...go 350, find a block with 4-bolt mains and go nuts.

Warren.

GO BIG BLOCK !!!!!!!

small blocks are like a$$ holes every ones got `em

on a serious note for fuel efficiency i`d go fuel injected...

but yep theres a bunch you can do to a motor.. small blaock are fairly cheap as well

in all honesty a good set up would prolly be a nice overdrive tranny good reag gear (3.08 or some thing 2.73 - for gas mileage) then say a 305/350 good tune up with a nice 4 barrel carb, true dual exhaust and headers. prolly get reasonable mileage

but the fun factor is really lacking

or get

a vw golf diesel and get WAY better mileage
