Wood glue or construction adhesive...?
#1
Hey guys,
Just wondering what everyone here normally uses when woodworking. I've found myself switching back and forth lately and can't seem to decide on a definitve answer on which is better. They both seem to have their advantages/disadvantages.
I'm kind of leaning towards wood glue myself... It's more viscous, dries quickly and isn't as messy. The construction adhesive (polyurethane) is nice because it expands as it dries and fills all the gaps, but it's thick, messy as hell and if you get any in your arm hair it'll leave a nice bald patch after you rip it out. Thoughts?
