Wiring a pod
#1
Hi all - new to the forum and hoping someone can help me out with a wiring question.
I am running a set of front components and a set of rear fills off the front channels of a 4 ch amp. I'm using the rear channels to power a sub. I'm running everyting off the factory HU on my Mazda3 and don't want to go aftermarket.
I've searched on this and found very little that covers off my situation - I want to back off the rear fill speakers using a L Pad - my thoughts were to buy a 50w stereo pad and wire them into the set up so I can turn down the rears.
Here's the catch - I have no idea how to wire up a Potentiometer or where to wire it for that matter.
Can they be wired in line with the rear channel speaker wire? I can't see how I could use the RCA's as the front RCA's are running both sets of speakers. I'm really lost on this and could use some help. BTW, I am using a Navone 4 channel LOC if that makes any difference. Bottom line, how do I wire in the POD?
Thanks a ton -
