One for positive one for negative for sure.

You could make mini bus bars for 3 0/1 gauge posts. Does your battery have a side post? (Is it Optima or any other high end?)

stock battery... would it be a good investment to replace it with another battery...how much does a battery run these days
are the bus bars generally made of copper and how do you go about building one of these and where would u get the large blocks of copper needed for the bus bars

An optima (Yellow Top) will run you almost $200, but they have good warranties on them. Your stock battery will be fine, but if it isnt a deep cycle battery, it wont last long in the large current draw conditions. There are other brands of similar batterys for less without the Optima name, look for them at Walmart or Crappy Tire, as long as they have high CCA and CA outputs, and are "deep cycle" you should be fine. I'm not sure what kind of metal to make bus bars out of, but steel should be fine.

Buss bars are generally made out of copper for the best connection. and unless you want to run more than 1 0AWG cable, then I don't see a need. especially when you're only going to run 1k-1.5kw, 1 0AWG run will be more than enough.
