will i need 2 Awg amp kit ?
hi everyone. i am planning out my new system for my van. the amp i will order is an Audioque aq1200d. its a 1200 watt bass amp. i will also have a 4 channel amp. i am not sure what 4 channel amp i will use yet, ,it will probably be 50 to 75 watts per channel kicker, sony, pioneer, or alpine.
Will i need 2 awg, or should i go bigger?
also does anyone know where i can get a great deal on a amp kit. i am trying to save money, cause i have some other projects i am working on now.

thanks lpchouinard and jalat.
i will order 2 of these kits.

and 1 extra set of rca interconnects, just in case my next deck has sub outputs on it, so i dont have to take my van apart again to add a wire

Do I need a Distribution block???

I suggest getting this kit
Car Audio Wire
Make the main fuse a 250A
Then for the distroblock, make the fuses 150A and 60A
The 150A will be for the AQ amp, and the 60A for the speaker amp
You can then do one of two things.
1. Ground both amps with the 4AWG wiring and use the 1/0 to ground your main batt
2. Get a ground distroblock and use the 1/0 as your main ground, and then ground each amp with 4AWG
Be sure to get a couple extra 4AWG and 1/0 ring terminals, as well as RCA's when ordering this kit
