Where to install amps

I have a few spots, but these are the main two spots I am choosing between:
The yellow arrows would use less actual trunk space because they're on a flat surface. The red arrows will use more trunk space because there will be air behind them due to the corners being a really stupid shape.
You think I should put my amps to maximize trunk space whilst having the stupid-shaped areas at the sides OR put the amps in the corners making the trunk more 'square'? The yellow arrow idea will probably have the amps angled downwards bolting the top part of them to the metal area (just under the weatherstripping where the modrobes sticker is) and the other side to the box increasing floorspace in the trunk.
If it matters, I theoretically have an Alpine 3402 and PG Bass Cube to go back there too. However, most likely the CUBE will go up front near my headunit. Oh, and my spare tire is still under there, I want to have access to it so I am not wasting my wheelwell putting stuff in there as I make a lot of long trips.
Oh, If anyone has any creative ideas on how to get rid of those stupid arms that hold up my trunk, or at least the long bars that go across the middle as springs, I am all ears.
