Whats making that sound?

As of right now i have two MTX 6000's in a vented box tuned to 25hertz, hooked up to a kenwood kac-729s...the subs are only getting 150 watts each and i plan on upgrading to a bazooka EL1500 of ebay for 100$, which should give those subs 250 watts each. My problem right now is that at continuous low bass, for example when i listen to "go to sleep"-eminem, dmx...my subs make that flapping sound. Now iv only had these subs in my car for a week and the movement on them is crazy. But when i stick my ear in my trunk i can really hear that flapping or bottoming out type of noise. Could this be because my amp is underpowering them causing maybe distortion or what?

Your port is probably too small, and you're getting turbulence/port noise. If it comes from your port, it's port noise. If it comes from the sub, you have it tuned too low.
Sooo, they're MTX 6000's. 10's? 12's? Hmm? 10's shouldn't be tuned lower than, like 40 IMO.
