What screws to fasten subs?

I found that if you're using them in an MDF box that the nuts tend to just rip the box appart.
Once that happens it's a real PITA to get the subs out because the nuts/bolts just spin.
I just use wood screws

I screwed the 'anchor' half of the device in from the inside of the box then put the machine screws in to hold my subs. I tightened mine to 100 in·lb, I doubt I could get anywhere near that with a wood screw (though I can't verify).
Putting the anchor from the inside, the anchor can't spin. I used stuff from home depot, did the same thing as shown above but looked different (can't find a pic).

^ The "nut" part comes 4 ways. What is shown above and a similar style with no barbs on it and two that have no flat part but have a tapered body, one being a tap-in, and the other being a screw in.
I've use the one pictured above and the screw in and both have worked well for me.

How about these: http://www.leevalley.com/hardware/pa...=3,43576,43578
I use drywall screws, they have held the 15L7's in place nicely so far.....
Call me a hack.

I find that T-nuts are the best also, especially if the sub will be removed often, however I found that T-nuts don't bite well into MDF, unless hammered in before the baffle is put into place, so I use 5/8 K3 (particle board), which helps eliminate cabinet resonance.
