What screws to fasten subs?
#1
I'm installing 2 10" Focal subs in an inverted position...what screws should I use? The box is 3/4" MDF. I was wondering where I could get wood screws with allen bolt heads.
And is the screw suppose to be long enough to go through to the inside of the box?

A lot of people use these T-nuts and bolts to fasten their subs. If you have enough lip overlap I think they would work very well.
I usually have two layers of 3/4" around the mounting area and then use 1 1/4" - 1 1/2" #10 wood screws.

I would personally avoid using T-nuts
I found that if you're using them in an MDF box that the nuts tend to just rip the box appart.
Once that happens it's a real PITA to get the subs out because the nuts/bolts just spin.
I just use wood screws
