My advice would be far different. While you may not have the worlds best speakers, they will come alive with a real amp behind them instead of the tiny little one built into your head unit. Next it will afford you a active high pass crossover to keep the damaging bottom end out of the speakers. Want new speakers in a hurry, expect too much from too little and you are well on your way. Once a speaker is damaged it is a downward spiral for them.

By choosing the right amp now, you can easily play your system cleaner, louder and be able to expand it easily at a later date. An amp on your main speakers is worth every penny.

your deck has built in selectable crossovers. so you are set for filtering out your lowend once you get your sub in.
these speakers are only going to come alive so much with an amp. so like i said before, unless you plan on upgrading in the future, don't throw away your money unecessarily.
obviously having an external amp would be better, but it is not at all necassary in a simple setup like that.
in the future if you upgrade, save your money now and buy the appropriate amp when the time comes. who knows what you are going to need down the road.

....just my opinion though

you need to decide what you want from your system. Did you "upgrade" your speakers because your old ones were junk or did you upgrade to drive around with music blaring to annoy old people? Yes your speaker will play slightly louder, cleaner and fuller with more power but for normal listening conditions your head unit will power them sufficiently.
If you decide to buy an amp i would suggest going the multi-channel route. but again this is a slippery slope, once you start upgrading components and putting amps in your cars it can be very easy to catch "upgrade-itis".
Run the speakers off HU power first, see if it suits your needs. If you're committed to putting a sub in go ahead. you can still get away with a single amp.
