Water based contact cement ???

So I've been doing some vinyl and leather jobs at the Benz shop I work at lately.... went out to CT to grab some contact cement to finish a job and saw LePage has some non toxic water based stuff on the shelf...

I grabbed good ol regular toxic cause I wasn't ready to mess around with new product...

Has anyone tried this other stuff and is it any good ?

I used water based on my dash and as soon as the heat hit the dash, the glue came loose.

I have used 3M fastbond 30 and 49 and they last. Not the best in the cold... in fact I bet most contact adhesives suck in the cold
