Hey i got a quick question for you guys. I want to Vinyl my kicks this week and i dont know what to use. I went to a local upholsterer to get a quote on getting them done. They only have black five way stretch vinyl. Plus they say that there will have to be two seams for the kicks to get wrapped. Is the any type of vinyl where i dont need to have seams. Where can i get this vinyl? I am so close to being done.

five way? never heard of it.. You must mean four way? Four way is usually the most stretchable vinyl out there.

What weird *** kick panel shape do you have that needs seams???

unless your kicks are over 3' around, I HIGHLY doubt you need a seam...But kicks being 1 of the harder things to vinyl, I'd DEFENETLY recommend against trying them as your first vinyl project.

My first finyl project was kicks.. It was fun.. I only ruined one piece of vinyl..

I have had good luck with both -High strength 3m spray glue (I beleive its 3M 90?), and -flammable contact cement (Only use the flammable contact cement, Red can).

I vinyled one of my kicks as my first time vinyl project I used some stuff I found at the closest fabric shop. Color sucked but it's very stretchy and thin, which makes it that much more stretchy. Came out good the first time too and done as one entire piece. Here is how it came out (the pic sucks too I'm afraid):
