Use cab as sub box?

Something I have seen done before that you might want to try is this.
Use the back wall of your cab as the back of the box. Build the front, top, bottom, and sides as you would normally. Leave the front off, silicone/fiberglass the top, bottom, and sides to the back wall. If possible, screw into the cab from between the box and the cab into the mdf. Then use deadener spray on the inside back wall. Cut your holes in the front plate and mount the front plate. Then silicone/fiberglass that seam through the speaker holes. Mount your subs, and away you go.
