sa8v2 vs sa10

looks like im going to pair these with a new JL 1200/1v3 (i love the new slash)
c5s up front c3s in the back with a pair of 300/4v3 (one for each component set)
Kenwood ddx-719 in the dash
few shuriken batteries bus barred together
and maybe an audison bitone if i feel i need it after everything is put in

but first i need someone to help me with running another running zero gauge for a big three on my E39 (battery is in the trunk so its a bit tricky)

on a side note...i usually buy mdf from lowes or rona but i had a couple home depot gift cards to i went and grabbed a sheet for my upcoming build.
Is it just me or does the home depot mdf look and feel inferior to the sheets from other hardware stores...with naked eye and just picking at the corners with my nail it seemed less dense and similar to some chinese mdf ive seen. It's also darker and a different shade of brown than normal. Below is a comparison of the colour...home depot on the left, rona on the right (3/4" mdf)

ok so i havent had any sub bass in the vehicle for a while and i really want to see how the sa8v2 sounds

i just happen to have a jl500/1v2 that i found while cleaning my closet and also had enough decent sized pieces of mdf in my scrap bin to put together a small box

after trimming the pieces to the right size cuts( i just went with some dimensions off the top of my head without any planning on paper),heres what i did last night while catching up on SAMCRO (SONS OF ANARCHY... motorcycle club redwood originals) best show EEEEEVVEEERRRRRRR!!!!!

as usual i got sidetracked and my indecisiveness came into play because while watching "SONS" i got a brain fart and started to get some home audio fever and started imagining coupling my HD tv viewing with some HD tv listening and besides the jl amp i found while cleaning my closet i came across a box full of **** like this(see below) and now i dont know what to do

time to ponder in my thinking chair(aka time to drop a deuce)

update

tv can wait...finished up my temp/test box for the winter...all glue no screws...rounded all the edges, flared the port and cutout the opening...all thats left is to decide how to finish it....i was thinking mirror finish in black (sanding sanding and some more sanding)

and i know some of you have asked me to build you a box but like i said im very lazy and i do work at random times in small increments....this box took about 3 days doing about 1-2hours each day while doing other things in between....my previous box i made for my re xxx12 and jl13w7 took me 3 weeks(0.25-1hr a day in between school n work). Another problem is my tools which are old(mainly tablesaw which i desperately need to replace as it only cuts straight 50% of the time which leaves me with lots of precise sanding to do)

will start on the real box soon enough...only thing holding me back is garage space and second thoughts on the quality of the mdf from home depot i bought

added a trim ring for aesthetics as well as flush mounting the woofer....also going to jump on a pre-order for the new sundown E8v3s (pre order price is amazing for the performance and quality of those woofers)

still no screws....the filled holes were used to hold down the small piece while routing

finished up the single 8 box and decided to drop in an 8" hifi woofer and add it to the bedroom to enhance my television watching experience(SONS OF ANARCHY/GAME OF THRONES)..also finally found a use for this lepai 2.1 amp thats been collecting dust (pretty awesome little amp...even lets you know when signal is clipping) in has two empty channels currently so ill throw together a pair of bookshelf speakers(dayton tweeters and tangband mids) and have a nice little home audio setup
