Sub wiring help

ok guys so i have 1 alpine mrd 500 amp
running a 12'' alpine type r dvc sub
on this amp it has a positive and negitive place to connect the speaker wire from the sub
**i want a 2 ohm load
im not sure if i would run
1 speaker wire just for the negitive,
2.split the wire and go positive and negitive
the part that confuses me is that it looks like the wire is in 1 wire and not split for this
3.put one wire positive one wire negitive and have a extra wire to connect the extra voice coils
helpp thankss

you would put a wire between each voice coil ++ -- then back to the +- on the amp

are you sure your sub has 2, 4 ohm coils?
Or is is 2, 2ohm coils?

If you don't know for sure, can you measure it?

u sure your not just seriously clipping the amp? that would make an amp shut off pretty quick.

like it has temp you can see and volts and amps
and so we put it on amps
and one amp is grabbing about like 1-15 amps
and then the other amp is steady around 10-15 amps
