ive read a load of info before coming to this site and trust me it helps .. and then when you understand most of the basics then you ask questions that you are not fully understanding .. then we can help you further on

wow I can't believe you would ask questions without first even understanding how to interpret the few responses already!

I agree with everybody else here, that you need to read and understand the fundamental basics before attempting to ask such a general question.....

Maybe goto Futureshop, or BestBuy and pick the brains of some of the guys who work in the car audio dept., and once you have a better grasp, come back here and you will then know what a crossover (and other important audio components are).
