im wondering if anyone ever tried this. im thinking of taking the glove box and converting it into a box for a 10" sub. any sugestions? would i even be able to compete in spl ( not like it realy matters but always wonderd)

i figure the major problem would be making sure the dash doesnt rattle like crazy but im sure som einsulation down before making the fiberglass box would work well.

im thuinking this might be my winter project for my car. any sugestions or thoughts?

realy? i cant see it being that much mroe work then putting one any other place. th eonly hard part would be making a mold to keep teh curve in teh dash so you dotn have like a flat spot. and to i liek teh idea of having nothign at all in my trunk but still haveing lots of power. just need to get a nice alarm cause the sub would be in plain view :S

Stuff the box full of fibre fill. You can also extend the box down the fire wall. Passengers may loose a bit of foot room, but who cares.............

I believe Gary Biggs did it in his buick. I've never heard his car, but heard good things about it

His car sounds amazing, I was lucky enough to get a listen at IASCA
