Lol that flapping is more then likely your tinsel leads smaking the cone unfortuantely theres nothing you can do about this but put some thin foam the black **** you use for weather stripping ... just a small square of it right under where the tinsels can hit the cone.... trust me im running 2 15 inch strokers and have experienced this problem myself.... i bought chadxtons stroker 15....

what you can do to check this is pull the sub outta the box and look under the cone if you see marks or the cone is smooth where the tinsels are you know your getting lead slap... another thing is look over both spiders and make sure no glue has happen to let go anyother help you need me or mag back here i can help you out.....

I remember the tinsel lead slap from time to time, but it never really became a constant issue.

No stroker.

So you want me to put a little Urethane around the tinsel leads... I can try it...
But will this noise be very loud? Like loud enough to hear in the front from my subs in the trunk?

not around the leads and not urethane its the sticky foam for doors and stuff its like a sponge thats sticky on one side it comes in rolls at home depot... you put a small square of it on the underside of the cone where the leads are.... yes mine was really loud i would really suggest taking the subs out and looking them over as i said there may be glue letting go on one of the spiders more then likely the lower spider.... one thing you will have to know is these subs are extremely fragile and are picky unlike other subs... dont play them loud until you find the issue as you may rip them apart....

Why would the glue be letting go.. they're basically brand new.. The only time they were used was the few minutes that i tried them in my car. Both subs made that exact same noise.. is it like a flaw in the sub.. I'll see if i have some foam stuff at my shop to put around the leads..

i repeat not around the leads but directly on the cone like a padding so when they and if they hit the cone they will be smackin against the sponge....
