Squealing coming from New door Speakers
Hey, I just bought two alpine door speakers for my 2000 Mustang. I have two subs and a 600W 4 channel amp. I have two sets of RCA cables running from the amp to the deck, one for the subs and the other for the speakers. Whenever I turn on my car the speakers give off a squealing noise and it gets louder as I accelerate. I tried to keep my RCA cables as far away from the power cord but that never helped. Could someone tell me what is wrong?
Thanks

Go over all your grounds and clean them. Including engine & battery grounds. If that doesn't help, try plugging an Ipod or something into your amp directly. If problem goes away, its behind the amp. Then, hook the Ipod to your RCA's where your deck would connect to them, if the noise starts its the RCA's, if not the noise could be entering from your decks ground.
You can always ground one of the RCA ground shields to the chassis of the tuner. That will usually stop the noise as a last resort. It's always better to try & find where the noise is coming from first.
