Speakers to Amp RCA input

Speakers to Amp RCA input

Hey, Im looking for this question all over the internet and still cant find a solid awnser.. The Question is from my amp rca input, can i cut the other end of the cord and attach it to my rear speakers and is there any special method to doing it? thank you!

i keep hearing about LOC
Line Output Converter..
I dont understand why i need it so bad.. its still a Positive side and a negitive side..
Id have it all installed if i went with my gut then eh...

^ depends on the amp. Some amps can take an input voltage high enough to deal with speaker level inputs. If your amp gain goes up to 5volts then you don't need an LOC.

Some new MTX amps don't even have the high level in plug anymore, they come with RCAs ends with bare wire inputs.

LOC are easy to use. Just take the positive signal from the right speaker, and negative signal from the left speaker and you are set.
