Sounded deadening doors

I'm about to put dynamat on my front doors but i have a question. when you guys install any type of sound deadening in your doors what do you do with that plastic sheet that is currently on it. i know that the sounded deadening stuff goes directly on the metal but do you simple put the water proofing back over it? or do you just not put back on at all?

thanks.

If you're going to use an ensolite type barrier then the plastic can probably skipped, but there is no harm in putting the plastic vapor barrier back on.
