I agree with Weman, 150 hard earned dollars for a roll of somewhat not precious metal plated is a tough pill to swallow :-( Happy for those who can afford it :-)

FatMat seems like good stuff for the price. But I think they are a US company. Shipping might kill the deal there.

You can get this stuff in Oakville, ON. Cant find the receipt :-(

You take exit south from HWY403 on Dorval Road. The next intersection make right. Pass one traffic light. Right after the intersection there is small plaza on your right hand side. Turn there. Circle around the plaza and you will find a company called Daffen or Dalfen auto. Small sign though. There you going to find FatMat at US prices but with no shipping.

You are welcome :-)

Hey thanks, just did a google search and found their website: Dalfen Auto Supply inc.

Now I just gotta give them a call and confirm their prices.

Glad you guys found them :-)

Another thing!!! I just returned from Home Depot, was looking for expanding foam to fill holes in the trunk and come across product called "Blue Skin" in roofing section. It appears to be almost exact thing as FatMat :-) Same rubbery-sticky-smelly-asphalty stuff on one side and nice azzure-blue glossy finish on another :-)

I would say its about 4mm thick, same application method as FatMat. By the look of it it might or might not do the same job FatMat or Dynamat does. Anyone tried this before? It is way mooooore cheaper also !!! I am not sure how many sqaure feet but the monsterous roll half of my height was 129 or 119 dollars.

There are smaller rolls too. Gotta try this stuff to do the trunk. If does not work will cover with FatMat :-)

Anyone want to share the monsterous roll? (gotta buy big to save more) Anyone?

Stryker, I've installed it in my garage with may be + 5C inside. I couldn't wait for another two or three months. There is very simple solultion and it worked great (really great) for me. Heat!

1. You measure and cut sheets as required.
2. If your stove is flat (glass stove) just heat the sheets up with aluminium side being heated. The material is becoming very warm and flexible. It simpifies the application process. Especially on not-flat surfaces, along curves, etc. And it sticks forever !!! Another benefit is that you do not have to apply a lot of roller presure as material being heated tends to bond quicker. Believe me after doing two doors your hands/fingers will get tired.

Anyway, just my 0.02$ :-)
