Second Batt. Today, but...

This is a ground question. I researched this extensively and it seems like six of one and a half dozen of the other.

Do you REALLY need to run NEG to NEG? I mean, thats another damn long run of 1 ought cable that I dont feel like doing if I dont have to.

Half the installs I've seen say run it, the other half say just ground to the car per usual.

Even the second batt kits only give you a short length of ground cable.

Hiding 2 runs of cable that thick is also a PITA, one is easier.

I've ordered a smart solenoid but not going to wait til it gets here. I accidently have some time to myself today, so I'll do the batt now

Thanks!

John

you should actually do both. run wire from neg to net as well as ground both batts to the car.

Thats good enough for me.

I am going to do it the way you suggested. I've joked around with you a bit in the past, but I respect your advice. Thank you.
