Hi all,

My 98 Neon surprised me by not having that many interior rattles after I put in my sub. Of course there are some, but not many and not very loud--pretty good for an econobox.

The biggest problem right now is the rearview mirror. It rattles during some of the loud bass, so I was wondering if someone knew how to fix this. As far as I can tell, it is the reflective plate of the mirror vibrating against the plastic shell. I don't think the mirror itself is vibrating on the pivot ball, as it is always in the same position after the music stops.

So is there some way I can "deaden" this mirror, or do I need to buy a new one, and if so which one?

This was my first system, and I found a lot of info about all kinds of sound deadening on the net, but nothing about this specific problem.

Thanks,
molo

If you can remove it put some liquid glue in the space. By removing it you can pour it into the crack. Personaly I'd just live with it.
