There are RCA's cheaper at the local car audio retail store than at radio shack... RCA's are never a good perceived value no matter what. If you have a noise issue due to induced noise then the type of RCA matters more than others. I have never had a noise problem with a twisted pair RCA but I have with a coax RCA. If you spend enough to get a quality cable that will stand the test of time then you will always be happy if you dont...
I am pretty sure an automotive RCA and a home audio RCA differ primarily in their length only. I would love to tell you the ones marketed at automobiles are made better or are made especially for the auto's issues but that would be a fib. Now I do like the RCA's with a third wire attached to them for use as an amplifier 'turn on' line (it is just like a phonograph RCA)

Well you do have a few options. Now Im assuming your using the 4 channel for your mids/highs. At this point a quality RCA will help you. If it was a mono block or amp used for under 80hz any RCA would do.
You would be fine with some of the Stinger stuff.
The HPM Series are good, twisted / shield pair.
The Bullet Series are a step up from the HPM but I dont know what your system consits of. If your a SQ freak then the bullet or Expert series would be good. For everyday you cant go wrong with the Stinger HPM series.
They do sell these at Future Shop.. I used to work their in the Car Audio dept. and the mark up on the wire is STUPID! 15ft HPM was like $35.99 or something. Staff price (Cost + 10%) came out to be $5.57 for the same thing. So if you know someone that works their do it that way or hassle the sales guy lol.

Seiously...if it's even possible; to hear a difference between RCA's you're going to have to spend a few thousand times as much on the rest of the system.
Get out of the big box fantasy land, and start shopping for a good installer.

im confused on what you are saying?
shielded rcas that are twisted have no advantage to regular rcas?
