I get what you're saying and you're probably right. We just use different terminology. "Bridged" is short for "bridge tied load" which means the speaker is connected between two amp channels. The speaker is what does the bridging. To bridge a mono block you would need another one to make up the other side of the bridge.
What you (and I think Yuli too) are saying is that there are some "monoblocks" which actually have two channels but are permanently bridged inside so you could never run in stereo even if you wanted to. They're probably a class-D amp with a full-bridge type output stage (as opposed to a half-bridge type which is the most common).

ya exactly but like yuli said theres several monos that have 2 amps incased into one like the ab i had a ppi 10k that was internally bridged as well
