Exclamation Question about z623 computer sub in car...

I know its not an ideal situation beileve me, but its what I have to work with..I recently bought a z623 Logitech Speaker System for my computer and they slam pretty hard, the sub alone puts out 120 watts with the system being a total of 200 watts give or take. I bought a 300 watt Belkin Power Inverter for my 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport which claims the specs on the power inverter are a consistant 300 watts putting out. So I guess my question is should I be alright if I put the sub with the speakers in the car being powered by the power Inverter??

I'm interested to find out if that'll work. I really have no idea.

My concern would be that the current draw the subwoofer has when trying to make a sustained amount of loud bass, will be greater than the amount the power inverter will be able to produce.

You could probably get a small 8" sub, build a ported box, and get a small mono amplifier for your Montero, that would sound better than the Logitech system...
