ok i would like to get 2 pg 1200,1 for my focal 165 k2p's
is this a bad thing to do?
if so why
this is what i would like to have at the end of the day (R)powered by a pg t1200.1, (L)powered by a pg t1200.1,(sub)powered by a pg t1200.1,and(the back just so i do not have to redo my f/g) powered by a pg t500.2 also a 44linedrive,basscube,10f powergrid there are one or two more things i'm looking at too

That's way more power than you'd ever want to send into those speakers. From what I remember Focal states the power handeling at 200w, not saying you can't give them more, but 1kw more???
and by the way, if you were running the above equipment, totaling a little over 4000watts, (RMS) that 10 farrad cap isn't going to help you one bit, unless you have an electrical system that can give the amps the kind of power they need... just a thought.
regards, Mark
Edit @ 07:39: starting to wonder if this was a joke or not.....

2900watts to 2 sets of speaker, and only 1200w, to the sub... I should have mentioned this before, but that's just dumb

in stead of investing all that money into that many amps onto a set of speakers like the k2p. why not take it into cartunes or audio lines or any where and get them professionally installed with a nice 4 channel amp or 6 channel. with a pair of channels bridged for the sub, and get it professinally adjusted and set up right so that you can win some competitions. instead of trying to come up with these extremely over the top ideas for a set up.
yes your speakers will work as long as you dont turn the gains up and yes it will play but there is no need for that much power to the k2p. if you are looking to compete then that is not a recommended set up. go see dave oakley and get him to do your car.
dont take this the wrong way but have you ever thought about taking a shops advise on a set up. seeing as how you've gone to more than one already to ask?

a box of speakers that don't work anymore, is a safe guess.
