Sorry if this is a noob question.

I'm using a wiring kit to put in my new head unit. Do I run a power wire to the battery for the head unit or do I use the power on the existing oem wiring harness?

The alpine power wire is bigger than the oem stuff.

Any help would be great.

Thanks.

it doesnt hurt to run an upgraded wire from teh battery if you are using deck power. if you are using amps then dont worry about it.

I agree, but in my case, I am using amp power for all my speakers, but I was running wire, and had the extra 10 awg for upgraded power, and ground wires straight into the HU... I figured why not...
