If you have a port that is horn-like shaped. Like a V for example. How do you find out what it's tuned to?

Would you take the tuning from the top of the V say...45Hz and average it with the tuning of the bottom of the V say 60Hz which would give you and average of 52.5Hz?

Any advantage to a design like this? How tight can the bottom of the V be before it choke the airflow?

^ depends how big the top of the V is, hoe big the bottom of the V is, and the expansion ratio between the two.

For a mildly tapering vent, yes you can average.

Your final true tuning should be field verified, like any vented box.

how would you verify yoru tuning??/
ive always wondered if my designs actualy gave me the dsame tuning after ive built them.. jstu not sure how to check
