Optimum Angle for Subs and Port?
#11
That looks pretty close to the specs I'm going to need. What's the cubic feet / sub on that box in the pic? Am I seeing right? Is there 3 layers of MDF on the top layer of the box?
Wouldn't the sound of the box be muffled if the ports are so close to the hatch?
Richmond Hill? Hmmmm You're close by! How much would you charge to help out? I know my boyz from 20Hz just moved up there recently... G.

yah there are 3 layers of mdf on top of that box. only b/c of a misscalculation in the start. the sub magnet was hitting the ports inside so we had to raise it up.
the whole box is about 4.5 cuft total but it's split in half inisde so its about 2.25 cubes per sub. subs are beyond auido inhumans. I dont remember how long the ports were in that box anymore.
nah the sound is fine, matter of fact in my jeep the closer the ports to the hatch the louder it gets. i've tested this on a mic.
20hz dudes can whip u up a nice box. just tell them u want a crx style box like Yuli's (thats me)
