Even if you run each sub back to the amp directly, they are internally connected. Therefore the amp still sees it as a single 1ohm load (not 2 separate 2 ohm loads) and will make around 1000rms @ 1 ohm 14.4v... therefore the 2 subs will share the 1000 rms.
Lets not make him any more confused then he previously was. lol

dual 4 ohm coils. wire each coil in paralel (+ to +) (- to -) then both subs the same way together. you will see a 1 ohm load witch is stable to this amp. and these amps are very underrated. i bet its closer to 1500watts shared at 1ohm. so theres is two speaker hookups on this amp.. but its both to the same channel, its just so your not cramming 4 wires into 2 holes when running 2 subs.

i dont know rockfords stuff i just assumed the amp is internally bridged like many other amps and if its an older rockford amp they used to make rated power even if both subs seee 1500 rms thats still a decent amount of power for those subs
