need help with wiring
ok so here is what I will be running
for bass a 18" fi audio q series with BP power option
the amp running it, a kaption 250.2
mid bass 2 re audio 8" subs
the amp runnning those kaption 80.2
components alpine 6.5" type x and 5.25" type s
the amp for those kaption 50.4
the head unit alpine 9815
now my question is how do I run all this? I only have front rear and sub outs on the cd player, how do I hook up the 80.2 that is running the re 8's for mid bass?

okay first of all the kaption 250.2 does 250x2rms at 4 ohms. 1000x1rms at 2ohm and i hope you purchased the fi audio q duel 1ohm and if you didn't that amp will be useless for that sub.
now this is the part i am lost at your are running 2 sets of components (front and rear stage i assume) why are you also using an 8inch re? the 5.25 inconjuctions with the 6.5 and the fi shoudl be enough to cover all the bass noice needed.
but to answer your question how you would hook them up is on your 250.2 amp does it have rca outs? if so you are in luck! basically just run the sub rca to the 250.2 then out from there to the 80.2 amp to push the 2 re's
the only thing to make sure and to watch out is for the settings on the re. in my openion you don't need the 2 re's and i think it will not good with the fi but give it a shot!
enjoy

He is using the 8's as there is a huge gap in response between the next largest driver, which is a 6.5". There is no way that his 6.5" or 5.25" driver can produce midbass response with the same amplitude that his 8's can in the proper box with the right amount of power. This is also going to further his ability to tune his sub nice and deep and keep it from playing into the muddy midbass area where the 8's are far more suited.
You need to find a bandpass active crossover, the Audio Control 6XS would do this for you and be a line driver at the same time. It will take your 3 front inputs and give you front, rear, midbass and sub bass outputs, master level controls and IIRC a subsonic filter for your 18" (assuming it is in a ported box). Without a bandpass crossover, you are going to have to get really inventive with amplifiers, splitters and custom passive crossover components.

I am not familiar with those amps but some 4 channels have output RCAs that are already Xover'd at the same frequency as the original inputs but opposite....ie. HP to the internal amp and the outs are LP'd. Hopefully yours are just a pass-thru connection since this will be a little more flexible and make tuning easier.
